Obituary

Donna Dannette Rades, 63, of Fort Mill, SC and formerly of Lakeland, FL peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, May 2, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 4, 1957 in Orange Park, FL.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Hart, and great-nephew Kodi Hanna.

Outgoing by nature, Donna never met a stranger. She was the long-time owner of Donna’s Dusters cleaning Service before retiring in 2001. She was a prayer warrior by nature and had a passion for ministry. For several years she served as a volunteer at her local food bank. She lived to serve God and help people.
Most important to her was her family and she will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She leaves a lasting legacy to be cherished by her survivors, her husband of 23 years, Richard Rades of Fort Mill, SC; mother, Shirley Hart of Macclenny, FL; sister, Cheryl Hart of Middleburg, FL; brother, Ike Hart and wife Beth of Griffin, GA; sons, Nicholas Oliver and wife, Heather of Middleburg, FL, and Timothy Rades of DeLand, FL; daughters, Pamela Moore and husband, Joshua Moore of Fort Mill, SC, Renee Scarborough and husband, Cliff of DeLand, FL, and Tiffany Sutta and husband, Joe of DeLand, FL; grandchildren, Zavian Oliver, Tripp Harris, Mia Oliver, Reid Oliver, Charles Sutta, Jacob Sutta, Joshua Moore, and Jackie Walker; nephews, Paul Hart and Ashley Hart; nieces, Christina Hart and Lisa Hanna and husband, Frank III; great-nephews, Dylan Hanna and Frank Hanna IV, and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of life service will be held by the family at future date.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the hospice nurses, physicians and staff, her beloved church family and friends for their unwavering compassionate and supportive care that was provided. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local food bank, Feeding America, or Second Harvest.

Pami Ruff was the first person to welcome my daughter Priscilla into Kingsland, GA at Camden County High School. We were a Navy family and had just
relocated from Washington State. Through Pami, we gained the Rades’. Donna, Richard and Pami.
I’ll always remember Donna for her strong Christian ✝️ faith and her beautiful heart and soul and kindness to everyone.
Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Pami and Richard, my heart breaks for you and all of your family. But one day, you will be reunited with Donna in paradise, and that is what we all have to hold onto when Jesus calls our loved ones home. Our love and deepest prayers and sympathy at this really sad and tough time in your lives. 🙏✝️ With love, Kim, Priscilla and Dalton Hart ( I will post more photos soon)

Donna, I will miss you so much. There are no words. We have been friends for many years. I already miss getting your texts daily. I love you my sister in Christ, my sweet friend. It won't be long and we'll see you again.

Donna had the biggest heart and would pray for you no matter where you were. :-) I enjoyed working with her in Lakeland, FL at the outreach in church. She was always giving. When we prayed, we always prayed for our children and grandchildren together every time. She loved her family so much!!! My heart is sad, but I know where she is and I'll see her again. Prayers to the family. Love you all.
